Mathew is a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist who has earned a Master of Clinical Physiotherapy; majoring in manipulative therapy. He has worked as a Physiotherapist in private practice since 2006; gaining broad experiences working as a locum across Australia. He has spent time living and working in Japan, Canada and Argentina. Mathew is passionate about physiotherapy; helping his patients achieve their goals, manage their pain and regain function. He strives to improve patient understanding through education, whilst providing skilful manual therapy treatments and self-management strategies. Mathew has undertaken postgraduate studies in Pain Management and understands the complex nature of pain. He recognises that each person's experience of pain is unique and that there are often many factors contributing to persistent pain; such as low mood, high stress, unhelpful beliefs, poor sleep or insufficient physical activity.
