The icebreaker was equipped with MV electric propulsion system and advanced power management system.Responsibilities: Assist section manager in the management of electrical section in production department. Oversee the electrical installation, testing and commissioning activities for MV and LV electrical systems and other ship marine and mission related systems for vessels. Supervise technicians, electricians & electrical subcontractors for the installation and testing of electrical power, control, navigation and other systems onboard vessels.I took 1 year leave from Keppel between 2008 and 2009 for my Master of Engineering Research, I spent 6 months working for Nanyang Technological University as research officer during this period.
