Following are the highlights of the value I brought to V/Line: - I led and supported team in re-engineering legacy (VB6) Rail Fleet Management and Rail Day of Operation systems by using a Microservices architecture. Equipped with strong working knowledge of Angular 8+, .NET Core, and SQL Server. - Introduced a Modern UI across the organisation, resulting in industry standard design and multiple device support.- Built and deployed database, application, and UI (SPA) tiers, ran system in AWS EKS (Kubernetes), displayed complex fleet layouts through embedded grids and draggable windows, and enabled uploads of electronic freight consists via AWS API Gateway. - Utilised RabbitMQ for async messaging between microservices, SignalR for push messages to users, and Angular Material and AG Grid for designing UI / presentation layer. - Created Jenkins scripts for auto deployment to the test and training environments. - Designed and integrated both IOS and Android applications in Xamarin for displaying train locations, schedules, and train on time performance. - Created a network chat component for train controllers and station staff using SignalR. - Implemented a GPS collection and processing module for displaying real-time train locations via Google maps and applying auto train arrival and departure times.- Provided technical support and maintenance for multiple legacy MS Access and VB6 (SQL Server backend) systems. - Designed and built a data warehouse for consolidating information from multiple systems to a single ‘source of truth’.
