Now I work with:* Lots of services that need to aggregate, checkpoint, and restore state for large quantities of data.* The streaming system and data which powers part of our alerts pipeline. When my team's stuff breaks, our customers notice within minutes.* Data transformation, filtering, re-routing, and exporting. You got data? I will do a thing with it and shoot it out of a metaphorical trebuchet. * My team patches/improves kafka when it doesn't quite do what we need, we weigh the risks of data duplication vs dropping at scale, we leverage and implement various streaming-related concepts (windowing, high/low watermarks, snapshotting, etc.), and we work with our friends within New Relic's core data platform to maintain a reliable platform that can scale to our company's wildest, data-ingesty dreams.
