I develop and maintain Python software to do characterization of the photonic integrated circuits (PIC's) based on analytical models. This software includes a self-written driver to control the electronics behid the PIC, implemented analytical models and an easy-to-use intiutive graphical user interface buildt in Qt. Among other things, I'm also working on:- lab automation in the microwave photonics group, - supervising graduation and internship students- internal tech meeting for the microwave photonics group;- improving communication between different groups, together with a colleague;- internal GitLab server;- organizing events for my colleagues (like lunches, company events and so on).Other things I have done:- lab cleaning and organization in the microwave photonics labs;- taking initiative for a GitLab server for software version control;- taking initiative for a database for all our measurements in the labs;- developing and giving an internal Python workshop to learn the basics and do dataprocessing.
