COA is the Dutch organization that provides asylum seekers shelter, basic care and guidance towards their future in the Netherlands or elsewhere. As a case manager I guide and coach asylum seekers trough the Dutch immigration process. I make sure this process runs as smooth as possible by closely working with stakeholders like municipalities, Vluchtelingenwerk and Dienst Terugkeer en Vertrek.

East Africa And The Netherlands

Thousands of Dutch people are trying to make the world a better place through small scale development work and social enterprises. What does this give rise to? To answer this question I traveled, together with journalist Guido Castagna, through East Africa to visit these people. We will share our experiences in a book ‘With the best of intentions’ which will be published fall 2015.
