Inmarsat, Head of Aviation Service Performance:- Head of international team of 8 people, consisting of reporting specialists, software engineers and data scientists. The team was tasked with supporting a data-driven approach to service performance.- Responsible for defining Key Performance Indicators and customer-facing SLA's for Inmarsat avation solutions.- Development of capacity analysis and data usage analysis to optimize pricing and customer-facing SLA for Inmarsat aviation contracts.- Responsible for the development of APIs and web applications for monitoring and reporting, both for the benefit of internal users and customers- Responsible for the global design of the Datawarehouse, ETL, post-processing calculations and the various front-end applications, with a focus on ensuring optimum performance and transparency when serving data to front-end tools.- Agile approach to enable rapid evolution of the Performance Systems to enable support for new solutions and to scale with increased number of aircraft and users.- All ETL, front-end web applications and data analysis based on in-house development using Python, PHP and postgres, using highcharts for data visualization.

SITA OnAir, Business Data Analyst for IS/IT:- Developer of custom web-applications for visualizing trends on the statistics for SITA OnAir cabin products. – Developer and administrator of the Postgres DB responsible for integrating operational data into the Business Support Systems. – Various custom performance monitoring web-tools, based on PHP, JavaScript, Highcharts and Postgres. – Responsible for developing reports in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to provide information for Marketing and Customer Program Management. – Development of python/SQL based scripts for integrating and aggregating operational data for further processing.

– Collaboration with Oracle to study the use of database technology for CERN physics analysis. – Development of new tools to analyze physics in databases, and comparing results with existing distributed data solutions such as Hadoop and PROOF. – Administrator and developer for Oracle RAC, Hadoop and PROOF cluster. – Regular presentations of DB performance studies at Oracle HQ, San Francisco.
