Biological Sciences degree from University Of Maryland Baltimore County interested in working in the Healthcare field as well as research in the Biomed industry. I am interested in interacting with different people from all walks of life and providing services and solutions to help alleviate problems or issues they may be facing whether it may be using research methods and procedures to find specific drugs for illness in the biomedical field or providing services to individuals to provide with the best quality of care in the health field. I have taken multiple courses in research methods and theory to improve my expertise in the research field. I have taken courses in Ecology and Evolution, Molecular General Genetics, Cell Biology Introduction to Psychology, Organic Chemistry I and II with lab, Cell Biology and Genetics LabI have also taken different job opportunities to improve my social and interpersonal skills to be able to provide the best services to individuals. In the past I have worked at the Reach Together Tutoring Program where I tutored three kids in Cherry Hill Elementary School in downtown Baltimore. During this time I worked with other tutors and supervisors as well was responsible for creating lesson plans suitable for the kids to give them the foundation in math to understand and catch up on their regular math lessons in the classroom. In the Tutoring program I incorporated diagrams, videos and quick structured tests to improve memorization and confidence.Currently I am volunteering at Saint Agnes Ascension Trusted Ride Program where I engage with elder patients and ensure their safe arrival from their homes to the hospitals and vice versa. In this position I provide welfare checks on the elderly clients and ensure they have the appropriate resources such as food connections, housing and employment resources to ensure they have good quality of life after retirement.
