Whole Woman Leader on a Mission to Inspire & Support Leaders to Unleash Potential and Maximize Impact. Strategy & Relationship ArchitectLeadership & Impact CoachDynamic Facilitator and ModeratorMy husband and I enjoy raising our three children together, and I live by the motto “Do Good, but first Do no harm”. In college, I studied languages, living abroad in France and Guatemala. This gave me great exposure and expanded my thinking in many ways. Today, the skills I acquired during my study abroad continue to serve me in tremendous ways. In 1999, I moved to the United States for college and everything I get to do now began as part of this seed to broaden my horizon with a different experience after high school. I love music. I started singing as a teenager – singing solos in church and to entertain family and friends. Today, music remains a constant and integral part of my life. To-date, I have recorded four projects (a mixture of albums, EP and singles) - www.maameafon.comAt the core, I am also a connector and a consummate networker! I enjoy identifying potential, finding talent, and connecting them to opportunities and resources to maximize impact and harness and unleash potential. All these parts that make the Whole Woman that I am led me to what I do today via the organization I founded in 2017, Mindsets for Impactful Leadership and Transformation (MILT)- www.themiltedge.comWhole Woman: “Je m'identifie comme une femme à part entière et une femme leader, ce qui signifie que je porte tout ce que je suis dans tout ce que je fais. Je suis convaincue que lorsqu'on est ce qu'on porte en toute intégrité, on transmet sa passion et sa vocation, et cela permet aux autres d'en bénéficier.”

Moremi Initiative For Women’S Leadership In Africa (Milead)Moremi Initiative For Women'S Leadership In Africa Jul 2011 - PresentGhana | UsaFounded in 2004, The Moremi Initiative for Women's Leadership in Africa strives to engage, inspire, and equip young women and girls to become the next generation of leading politicians, activists, social entrepreneurs, and change agents--leaders who can transform and change institutions that legitimize and perpetuate discrimination against women. We firmly believe that the full and active participation of women in leadership is a pre-requisite for positive change and development in Africa, and addresses the current problem of leadership imbalances. We believe that "the power to lead comes from the commitment to serve," as such since 2009 Moremi Initiative has organized the Moremi Initiative Leadership and Empowerment Development (MILEAD) Fellowship Program. The MILEAD Fellows represent some of Africa's most extra-ordinary young women leaders with the courage and commitment to lead and shape the future of their communities and Africa as a whole. Fellows represent 44 African countries and the Diaspora and constitute a truly pan-African network and diversity- with multi--disciplinary academic, professional and social backgrounds. From poverty to women’s economic empowerment, environmental justice and political participation, this new generation of African women leaders are at the frontlines of the struggle for change- providing the bold, visionary and inspirational leadership needed to lift Africa to its rightful place on the global stage. The Fellows are selected through a highly competitive selection process and criteria that includes their outstanding leadership promise, community service accomplishments, and commitment to the advancement of women in Africa.
