The 3 Ps to Business Success (Product, Process, People) was probably one of the most interesting concepts I came across when I was much younger. But back then, I had no idea it had any correlation with my love for numbers. My interest in accounting and finance began with my love for numbers and making meaning out of them. I decided to pursue a career in accounting, specifically audit to better position myself to interpret and apply financial information strategically and offer solutions to my clients for decision-making. But over the years, I have come to understand that the first step to a great audit is the understanding of the client's business and processes. So although I went in for the numbers, I have come to also appreciate that effective processes and internal controls can make and unmake any business and that is what guides me in delivering quality audits for clients.Over the years, I have worked with prestigious organisations, both local and international, for financial statements audits, integrated audits and agreed-upon procedures.I consider myself a goal-getter and this is evidenced by my rise from Associate to Assistant Manager at PWC Ghana as well as my desire for life-long learning which has led to me acquiring professional qualifications like ICAG and CIMA.
