Possessing a high degree of legal knowledge and experience, a practicing lawyer in the Philippines for ten years who is adept in a wide array of practice areas such matters as public interest, litigation and dispute resolution, and issues involving foreign investments, compliance, and the drafting, negotiating, and reviewing of contracts and other legal agreements for clients. With a high level of research, analytical, problem solving, and strategic skills, a trailblazer who is unafraid to distinguish herself from others by not only tackling novel legal issues in her work and writing academic papers and book chapters on pertinent issues. Goal-oriented and diligent in her endeavors, an achiever who is the first and only Filipino member of the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law and the International Max Planck School for Comparative Criminal Law when she finished her Ph.D. degree from the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg with magna cum laude honors. Prior to this, she was the first Filipino who finished her LL.M. in Forensics, Criminology, and Law from Maastricht University in the Netherlands (with cum laude honors) and being a member of its Honours Programme. Positive change and leadership as part of her core values, a leader that is willing to give without counting the costs in her socio-civic extracurricular activities and volunteer work as, for example, former Ph.D representative in the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security, and Law and Deputy Humanities Head for the PhDnet, and Director for Community Development for Junior Chamber International Alabang.
