In addition, I have worked as problem-based-learning (PBL) tutor at "Metabolic" course. In PBL method, students are introduced a case at every meeting, and they should come up learning objectives by discussing about the case as a group. PBL tutor guides the discussion to right tracks and makes sure the group has found all the intended learning objectives.

I contributed in a research project aiming to identify the target genes of BMP4, which is an important regulator of breast cancer cell growth. My main responsibilities in this project were to gather data from scientific databases and literature, RT-qPCR analyses and the analysis of the results.

The topic of my thesis was optimization and characterization of human vascularized adipose tissue model. In my thesis project, six different culture set-ups were tested in order to determine by which strategy vascularized adipose tissue is best established.In this project, I was responsible of the technical performance of the study, analysis of the results and reporting of the results.The project was conducted in the spirit of GLP (OECD: Good Laboratory Practice) and according to the standard operating procedures of FICAM.
