About Maarit Toivonen
I have a deep understanding of programmatic buying and digital advertising. I have been privileged to see from the start how programmatic buying has changed digital marketing, especially from the publisher perspective. I'm highly interested in the digital ecosystem and the technologies that come with it. As one of the programmatic pioneers in Finland, I have a passion for building things from scratch.I enjoy working together with advertisers and agencies so we can find the best solutions to reach the KPIs. I'm a fact & numbers driven programmatic enthusiast who can understand that digital advertising is still much more than technology and algorithms. I believe that programmatic buying was one of the things that changed digital marketing for good, but the next change is already behind the corner.I am currently the chairwoman of IAB Finland's programmatic buying committee.
