To fulfil my passion for entrepreneurship and travelling I founded Gecko Routes.Gecko Routes compares various methods of transportation and help travellers to find the most convenient way of getting around in South East Asia.

From June 2017, I re-entered Danum Advisors for a part-time function as an investment analyst with a focus on the travel industry.

Travelling South East Asia was an incredible experience during which I have been enjoying nature, experiencing different cultures, meeting inspiring people and applying my great passion for surfing. During this trip, I also participated in a coral transplantation project in Indonesia, volunteered at a gibbon sanctuary in Thailand and worked in a great co-working space in Bali. In this co-working space I made the first steps to create a trip planner, which would later become GeckoRoutes.

As an equity analyst at Danum Advisors, I learned to analyse business models and to assess whether companies can benefit from certain trends and changes in ecosystems. My research is mainly focused on, but not limited to, traveltech, Fintech and cybersecurity. Trends such as digitalisation and disintermediation play an important role in this research process.

Organizing a business trip for students interested in Finance. During this event we visited five different companies in three days with 24 high potential students, selected on their resume. In addition to the acquisition of companies and promotion activities, I was responsible for the financial budget.
