Responsible for problem identification and solving for the integrated mass spectrometer module in the vacuum system of ASML EUV lithography tools.On the one hand contact with the supplier on a weekly basis and on the other hand interfacing with a demanding program that needs progression, ultimately driven by ASML's customers.

At NTS I have worked mainly on the development of a water seal between a large (3 m) rotating structure and the fixed world. Water is to be supplied to this rotating structure, but the pump is on the fixed world. Details for the principle as well as the design can not be shared due to non-disclosure agreements.Additionally I have written module specifications and test specifications for a mechanical alignment tool for ASML.

The first few months I worked in the integration team that integrated the Cymer EUV light source with the ASML NXE:3100 Litho system. Responsibilities: design and realisation of test for gas flow functionality and cleanliness of the Ultra High Purity gas system.Hereafter, I played the role of vacuum architect responsible for maintaining functionality and keeping the budgets for: cleanliness, pressure and chemical composition for the NXE:3100 Litho system vacuum. Responsibilities: design of upgrades for software and hardware to inprove the quality of the vacuum system as well as fixing problem or malfunctioning components.
