Fundación En Vía is committed to helping women in the region by providing loans without interest, as it is almost impossible for them to obtain this credit through the normal banking system. To qualify for the loan, women must participate in En Vía's program. Instead of paying interest, the participants welcome tourists who are interested in their craft work. The loan allows the participants to become more financially stable.The focus of my research was on what the impact the program has on the participating women, in order to possibly improve the program in the future.
