As research assistant on the Water, Energy and Environment department I had a supportive role in several research projects which were mainly in commissioned by the EC. The tasks I performed included writing parts of reports, data analysis, stakeholder interviews, translations, literature research and layout improvements. My time was divided between short tasks for a large number of projects and some long term involvement in several large projects which dealt with smart grids, sustainable buildings, copyright infringement and the environmental performance of Egypt and Jordan.

During my work as a Project Employee for Decisio most of my activities were dedicated to two area-based mobility analyses of Port area Waalwijk and business area Waarderpolder Haarlem. The aim of these two projects was to identify obstacles to mobility concerning these two areas. Besides providing an overview of these areas, individual firms were also provided with a short assesement in order to help them solve mobility issues.
