I have written three books on sustainable energy. I advize entrepreneurs and managers on sustainability, energy and cost saving. In my experience, CO2 reduction can be well combined with cost reduction, making your sustainability program sustainable.

Malvern Panalytical is a great company to work for. Together with many knowledgeable colleagues I have pursued commercial opportunities and implemented operational excellence. We have been able to diversify and grow the worldwide business and build a new X-ray tube factory. This enabled the subsequent realisation of an integral Lean Six Sigma program, increased productivity and reduced internal rejects and field call rates.

I started my professional career at Philips Research in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, working on semiconductor and optical disc technology. I moved on to Philips Display Components, and then to Philips Analytical X-ray, which in 2002 became PANalytical. In that same year I took the position of Director X-ray Tubes.
