About Maarten Van Eck
Mijn naam is Maarten en ik werk sinds 2003 full time als persoonlijk begeleider bij Cello.Ik heb 6 jaar begeleiding geboden op een woning waar LVB+ cliënten wonen. In 2009 ben ik binnen dagbesteding gaan werken om onze cliënten een zinvolle en prettige dag invulling te bieden. Ik vind het belangrijk dat onze cliënten actief, meetellen & gezien worden in de werkzaamheden die we gezamenlijk bedenken en ondernemen. Ik streef er naar om cliënten in hun kracht te zetten. Sinds mei 2023 ben ik betrokken bij de 20 ervaringsdeskundige die Cello vertegenwoordigen op allerlei fronten zowel extern als intern. Om Cello meer bekendheid te geven ben ik inmiddels al een paar jaar actief bij de het promotieteam. Op diversen opleidingen, open dagen en thema middagen en avonden proberen we onze organisatie voor het voetlicht te krijgen en de schijnwerpers op ons mooie werk te laten richten. Daar haal ik veel energie uit. En door dit te te mogen uitdragen krijgen nieuwe zorgmedewerkers misschien de 'feverrrr' om te gaan werken binnen de gehandicapten sector, net zoals ik 21 jaar geleden.
