Responsibilities: - Inspection / survey on board of vessels (global)- Making of quotations based on repair / conversion / survey specifications received from the customer(s) and / or based on the findings during the inspection on board- Dealing with subcontractors (requesting for quotations, criticization of their quotations, consultation with subcontractors)- Making of basic planning of multi-discipline (repair / conversion / survey) projects

During my graduation internship I have made a proposal for constructing a prototype for 2ndSkin renovation projects. The focus and challenge were to make normal homes more sustainable by means of renewable energy technologies, such as the application of a heat pump and solar panels. Although my project ended with the proposal for a prototype, the consortium is still developing. Until this day, new graduates are doing more research and developments to make this program successful. This was one of the most fulfilling projects I've worked on.
