Rotterdam World Gateway terminal (RWG) is one of the most advanced automated and innovative container terminal in the world with a Capacity 2.35 million TEUs per year. The process of loading and discharging containers at RWG is highly automated. My assignment was the capacity expansion of the terminal by the execution of several major projects. These projects involved, civil, tectonics, mechanical, E&I and ICT scope in an operational phase of the terminal. An additional part of the assignment included the execution of several tender processes of the current maintenance contracts where significant savings were realized.

Verwater Industrial Services is part of the Verwater Group and provides international E&I and E&A, rotating equipment and valve services for new build and maintenance projects for the oil- gas-(on- and Offshore), food, rail, pharmacy and shipping industry. Verwater Industrial Services is an EPCM contractor for factory’s, engine rooms, storage terminals, control rooms, jetty’s, Offshore decks and gas plants.

PL responsible for all the business activitys in the business unit services including the cleaning-, civiel- and mechanical project and maintenanace contracts at the bp and Lyondell plants. Responsible for the division Mourik Installation Services and the set up off the offshore and flow service activities.

Assistant Engineer 4nd Engineer, 2th Engineer (various ships) Trainee as Assistant Engineer (SWTK) on an expedition to the South Pole. Fourth Engineer on a large Floating Production Tanker. Apart from general engineering tasks, specifically responsible for maintenance planning and execution on pumps, boilers and other parts of the steam production. Went on to perform various positions as 2nd Engineer on board small and larger cargo ships. In the position of 2nd Engineer responsible for the planning and execution of maintenance to the main and secondary engines. Final position as 2nd Engineer on board a heavy cargo ship.
