Much research is being done on the quality of work in the Netherlands and it is not doing well. This manifests itself, among other things, in attrition, declining labor-productivity and lagging innovation. There is no single cause, but I see that professionals are too much thrown back on themselves when dealing with complex problems. However, there is no Quick-fix. So in many places, thankfully, there is hard work being done on the way up, with value-based value creation, process and culture improvement. I have seen and I believe that resilience of people and organization are of crucial added value in that way up. We will have to work together application-oriented and participatory with the necessary improvement of the organization. I help with that by providing knowledge, experience, positive energy and contributing to a good learning climate.❶ Within Veerkracht College, a great team of facilitators and guest lecturers offer executives and consultants a highly valued in-company learning course with an Avans+ diploma 'Resilient leading and advising'. The resilience of both the organization and themselves grow measurably as a result. I am ultimately responsible for the program and the team. ❷ As Master Lecturer in strategy, HR strategy and graduation supervisor at Avans+, I guide advisors and executives in application-oriented learning.❸ As a member of advisory boards, supervisor and consultant and coach, I help directors and board members reflect on how to best connect realism, focus and future perspective and remain mentally resilient. ❹ Here on LinkedIn, I moderate the LinkedIn group Resilience in Organizations.
