• Designed, built and tested a proof of concept thermo acoustic engine, converting 600C° automotive exhaust waste heat into 400W electricity (~5% fuel savings). • Coordinated waste heat recovery project with international leading automotive suppliers/partners and research institutes with a budget of 500kUSD.

• Initiated system architecture research and convinced senior management to design and build a new type of flatbed printer, enabling 15% higher throughput. Managed the project’s 10+ multi-disciplinary team.
