In the function of a Rental Representative I was responsible for customer relations and managing and planning the fleet on a daily basis.

The main job of my graduate internship consisted of exploring and analyzing the global market for regional aircraft and finding market opportunities for Mass Lease. As a Fokker-only lessor the management team of Mass Lease was interested in a detailed overview of the global market for regional aircraft specified by aircraft type and region to help defining the strategic future position of Mass Lease in the market. As part of analyzing the market I developed a multifunctional model which enables the user to gain deeper insights in the market and therefore is still being used by the company. This model makes use of market data provided by Ascends’ Flightglobal and AerData and is for this reason reliable and an easily reusable (by inserting the latest available data) sales tool.The management team of Mass Lease described my thesis as ‘very useful and valuable’ and the graduate committee awarded my thesis with an 8.0.

During my internship at Arval I conduct a social media competitive analysis and wrote a social media advice report based on my findings. Furthermore, I assisted my colleagues with the organisation of several events for employees as well as for business relations and helped developing the new Arval smartphone application for fleet managers and drivers.
