I was working in the marketing technology department, within FedEx digital. There were two big subjects:- Working on User Segmentation projects- Working on the 'gdl', a standardised DataLayer within all of the (online) applications within FedEx. For the GDL I was responsible for the CICD & DevOps setup and making sure that all stakeholders where aligned and all the processes were in place. This was challenging setup together with different teams in the USA and in the Netherlands.

As Integration Specialist I am responsible for the implementation and configuration of the Relay42 technology at our clients. I am the expert translating (online)marketing cases into technical implementations with the Relay42 technology. Translating business requirements into technical requirements is part of my daily job. So is connecting the Relay42 systems to other systems, such as CRM, data warehouses, DSPs, ESPs I am used to working on different levels with IT and marketing stakeholders. Proactively thinking along on solutions and providing substantive advice is in my nature.My technical and analytical background helps me to understand how different systems interact and how data can be accessed and used. I am able to identify and remove the barriers that our clients face; create a support group; bring together stakeholders and lead the projects to success. I inspire the clients in how they can set-up the technology in the most effective way, bring tangible business results and strengthen and expand the use of our technology. Part of the OGD cloud service focuses on servers, workstations and backup to a data center.Purpose:To further develop and implement the strategy of OGD in the field of cloud services. The basics of Officium are build on the concept of (windows) desktops and applications as a cloud service.I am involved with continuity and quality of the service according to the agreed SLAs; monitoring and budget planning; coaching and supporting our own staff; working with colleagues from other business units and processes to create acceptance and success.Commercial:- Development of sales activities together with account management to achieve the growth targets.- Creating, verifying and issuing offers.- Working with (big) outsourcing projects (private / public tenders) in cooperation with the tender desk and business development.Management:- Directing (cloud) team of system administrators and specialists.- Ensuring adequate staffing and planning.- Conducting annual appraisals.- Providing insight in current business processes and improve these.- Reporting turnover/profit/loss, SLAs, KPIs.Innovation:- Monitoring developments in the cloud, in terms of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS (DaaS).- Translate cloud developments to our infrastructure and business model in order to improve and supplement our customer propositions.- Develop new cloud propositions and improve our current propositions.Tasks:- Plan, monitor and oversee (migration) projects into Officium.- Responsible for the Officium environment, invoicing and projects.- Responsible for Incident and Change Management (ITIL).- Responsible for capacity management- Daily coordination with Service Delivery Managers and project managers.- If necessary indentation on substantive escalations.

As member of a team responsible for managing a Citrix and Microsoft environment with 3500 users (TBC). Started as helpdesk employee. Then assisted in the re-development project of a new environment with Windows 2003, VMware ESX, Citrix Presentation Server 4.5, etc. Pieter van Foreest has one main location and about 30 branch offices, connected to the WAN. All installations are scripted , PXE​​, WDS, Kickstart, AD, Installation Manager. At Pieter van Foreest I builded a monitoring system for the IT department.
