Junior* Academy for Art Direction & Design was one of Holland's most acclaimed institutions for the education of advertising professionals. For more than 10 years, I took on the task to teach students the principals of conceptual visualising.

Creative Director on accounts like Miele, Chevrolet, AkzoNobel, Yamaha Motor NL, Expert and BOVAG. During my stay, LaMarque changed its proposition from an all-round advertising agency to the first neuro driven communication agency in the Netherlands.

Dedicated creative/copywriter on the Dutch Vodafone account. Side projects: Shell, ABN Amro, Mini, Grolsch and Essent. After my stay at PPGH JWT, the agency merged with UbachsWisbrun. Today, the agency operates under the name J. Walter Thompson Amsterdam.

At the time UbachsWisbrun was one of the hottest agencies in Amsterdam. Winning new business, creative awards and the Agency of the Year-title, it provided a vibrant and creative environment to work for clients such as Dommelsch beer, MG, Randstad and Radio 3FM.

Boutique Agency with a select group of A-clients such as AEGON, Hero Fruits, MeesPierson and Mercedes. Unlike the other agencies on this cv, which covered all types of media and advertising (above, below and online), Straad focussed solely on above the line advertising.

Publicis incorporated FCA!. Consequently, I got to work at Publicis Amsterdam. For the short period I stayed here I created some nice international ad campaigns for Renault. Other work included the public awareness campaign for the introduction of the Euro.

The first Amsterdam based advertising agency I worked for after graduating at the University of Leiden (Law). As a beginning creative I immediately got to work for accounts like IKEA, Robeco and De Volkskrant. FCA! than, was part of the international Publicis network.
