This year was marked by the discovery of hole systems in South Africa (6 months), Australia (6 months) and Thailand (2 months). Closed cycles of food, energy and water. Analysing inputs and outputs, needs and yields. Aiming for self-sufficient waste-free systems. The inspiration for this journey came from natural succession and permaculture.Designing this kind of holistic systems for farms (up to 9 hectares) and residential areas. I have also implemented these designs: Construction of gardens (landscaping), the creation of a multi-year crop rotation for a market garden and natural building (house, nursery, greenhouse, pizza oven).Other areas I gained experience in are cell grazing for livestock, chicken breeding, seed saving, propagating with cuttings, making compost, and the whole process from plant & animal to plate for I love cooking with whole foods.
