MT Europe member, reporting directly into board of LCMG Telecoms. Responsible for Operations (Project & Program Management, Deployment, Customer Support and Customizations) for customer base in Europe & Africa, i.e. 50% of the Global Telecom Business. Focus on Customer satisfaction and Revenue recognition (around £ 120 million p.a.). Directly managing 7 Operations Directors (on 5 locations in Europe) and 1 Quality Manager. Managed three major changes: 1) extending activities & expertise from one to all products of LCMG Telecoms 2) near shoring engineering activities from various locations in Europe to Brno (Czech Republic) 3) change from functional to regional organisation to increase customer focus. At max, department consisted of 170 employees. Ad interim additionally responsible for the Asia Operations organization (12/'05 - 1/'06), temporarily based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Second in charge of the post-merger organisation in Japan (around 60 employees), responsible for operations organisation. Directly managed three managers (indirectly 30 employees on 2 locations, scaled down from 45 employees over 4 locations due to negotiated decreased Support Levels and increased efficiency). Activities of Operations include Project Management, Deployment, Customer Support, System engineering, pre-sales and the internal IT infrastructure. Responsibilities focus on customer satisfaction and revenue recognition. Reorganised 1st & 2nd line structure and way of working. Increased customer satisfaction significantly within one year, by organization and culture change. As only senior ex-CMG representative in Japan and based on successful activities in 1st year, closely co-operating with sales VP and President in Sales process and strategy. Extremely demanding role in country with highest quality and service expectation in the world.

Started the Japanese business and office for CMG from scratch, based on a half year of preparation/investigation. Activities focussed on: Sales (cold canvassing, account management, establishing local partnerships) establishment of office both physically and legally, Operational management, People-management and recruitment. First year’s revenue over 1 million Euro, virtually break-even, three customers, high potential sales-funnel, 7 people office. Very entrepreneurial role in a challenging setting (market and country).
