Besides my general duties as board member, I am responsible for all legal affairs and insurances. In my first year I focused on GDPR implementation. I'm also the primary contact person of the NGV for all privacy inquiries.

I liaise between Utrecht Holdings and UMC Utrecht concerning all matters where they have shared interests, such as academic spin-offs, IP licensing and data sharing. I also advise on matters of intellectual property and corporate law.

I have helped medium and large sized companies and private health institutions with their corporate and commercial legal matters, including mergers, acquisitions, governance and commercial contracting.

As part of my LLM I worked as paralegal for the Corporate (M&A) department and Finance & Capital Markets. During the summer I followed the summer course program at the London office. One of the most memorable assignments I did was working my way through though ISDA master agreements and being able to give meaningful advice thereon.
