[EDUCATION] For as long as I can remember, the increasingly interconnected and interdependence of our world and modern-day society fascinated me. Graduating from the European School in Mol (Belgium), these interests never stopped growing and, thus, it was only natural for me to start my higher education journey at Wageningen University in the Netherlands to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism & Sustainability. During the course of this program, I have followed a minor in climate change and climate sciences. Having completed this path, I pursued a Master's Degree at Lund University in Sweden to learn about the aspects and different dimensions of business and organizational management.[PROFESSIONAL]After my graduation, I worked for five years in Fauwater Hotel & Chalet Park in Belgium as a Management Director, combining my passion for service and sustainability. I have proudly been part of co-leading the Green Key project that pushed the company into more sustainable practices, to which we received the Green Key Award at the Sustainability Conference in Brugge. This successful transformation within the company convinced me that moving towards a more sustainable future, together with consistent management, team-work and determination, is not only an investment in our environment but also a way to secure a position in the growing sustainable market of the present day.My passion for sustainability and concerns on climate change then pulled me to Copenhagen, Denmark, where I worked as a business development representative at Klimate Co. Apart from benchmarking different carbon capture and storage technologies, the platform provides services so companies can permanently remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and store it underground through our partners. [PERSONAL]I am renowned to be a warm and kind-hearted person while being a social and fluent speaker. Thereby, I am open-minded without compromising my ability to think critically.What is more, I have a curious personality and always try to expand my knowledge on many different topics, with special interests in matters such as sustainability, climate change, and the need for working towards a more sustainable future.
