Being Human Project, a Positive Psychology coaching practice, is designed for authentic and positive evolution; an advocate for change through Applied Positive Psychology - the scientific study of human flourishing and optimal functioning – allowing individuals, organizations, and communities to thrive, personally and professionally. This includes private clients, collaborative group workshops, and speaking engagements. My most recent speaking engagement on “Positive Psychology: Strengths, Mindset, and Purpose” was at the University of California, Davis for their 2016 Worklife and Wellness Brown Bag Series. I'm also the official host of the San Francisco Positive Psychology Meetup (we are currently 350+ members strong).Over the course of my career, I've worked with children, teens, and adults in education, nonprofits, the arts, and the literary world. My purpose centers on a determination to grow, connect, and meaningfully enrich lives. Creativity, ingenuity, and originality are among my top strengths, and crafting novel pathways is crucial to all that I do. I'm a lifelong artist, trained dancer, singer-songwriter, literary journalist, and world traveler. I've spent several years singing and recording on the music scene, and often performed, as well, with locals during my countless travels abroad (Israel, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, India, Australia, New Zealand, and France, among others). When I wasn't site-seeing or singing, I was volunteering at an orphanage in Cambodia, teaching English to Tibetan Refugee monks in India, or supporting Cancer patients in Los Angeles. Alongside my travels, I've lived in major cities such as Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Tel Aviv. The best form of education in life is traveling, learning about the world around you, and learning how to see beyond yourself. Life is a complete endeavor of the body, mind, and soul, and is best lived in the alignment of all three. Growth in one creates growth in the other.
