I’m a bit obsessed about asking questions. I’m a curious person and I’ve always been, but mostly about people. I want to know what makes you tick, what gets you up in the morning, what motivates you, and I’m not afraid to ask tricky questions like, “Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?” Asking the right questions means that another person begins to co-create with you. They’re no longer passive in the conversation. This is where the magic happens.This is why I love the space I’m currently working in. Through coaching, I bring to my clients a greater awareness of themselves, so they can lead themselves and lead others, whether in their professional life, to wider relational networks. I have over 20 years in education from overseas experience, secondary schools to developing and facilitating STEM programs for secondary students at Swinburne University. Empowering students to take ownership of their own learning has been key. The lightbulb moments didn’t come from disseminating information, but with deeper probing through asking reflective questions. I’ve worked with a global consulting firm where I designed and facilitated workshops utilizing the Design Thinking framework to help our clients (ISV, schools, Victorian Government) FIND and solve complex problems, rather than assume what they are. I have a bunch of tools under my belt that empower my clients to take the next step forward from the Enneagram personality profiling, mental fitness training with Positive Intelligence, Five Capitals Prioritized Life, Design Thinking and also faith-based tools.
