PurposeTo develop Association policy on conventional mortgage finance and lending; to establish and maintain liaison with secondary market agencies, private mortgage insurers, trade associations, and other entities involved in regulating, providing, and maintaining conventional mortgage financing and lending.Composition50 members as follows: Chair and Vice Chair, the Immediate Past Chair, and 47 at-large members who have experience in conventional residential finance issues, programs, and lending practices/operations.As the Chair I am to facilitate discussions and look at the creation of subgroups to monitor key issues that arise from the current real estate market and/or mortgage climate. The members are engaged in monitoring, reviewing, examining, analyzing and recommending short, mid- and long-term policies and programs in the area of real estate finance; examining the effect of financial services deregulation on the housing finance system and recommending policies favorable to that system's future development; exploring and recommending creative, proactive approaches to facilitating an adequate supply of mortgage capital to meet current and future real estate needs; and recommending Association policy in the area of real estate finance.

Represent and be a voice to REALTORS in Chicago at Annual Mid-Year Meetings in Washington D.C. and at Annual November Convention and in assigned committee meetings.

Represent Chicago REALTORS at January Public Policy Meetings, March Business Meetings, Capitol Conference, Annual September Convention. Be a voice in committee meetings and task force.

Currently over 200,000 listeners and growing everyday. The on air personalities are John Davis as Moderator, Ron Vergara REOR Founder and Real Estate Investment Expert, Matthew Sapaula Financial Expert (Money Smart Guy), and Sebastian Wallas Mortgage Expert President United Equity, Nathan Schwartzberg with Nate's Picks, and Alex Mysko with Housing Tips.

Assist Developers in project development from 1 to 200+ units. From concept, feedback on floorplans, proformas, timelines for marketing events, manage escrows and keep team(s) updated and refreshed through project sellout. Work with Investors on acquiring REO/Foreclosed properties for rehab opportunities. Working in concert with REOR/Envision Real Estate Group. Assist buyers in achieveing their goal of finding a home. Recommend financing options through credible lending partners, schedule and attend home inspections, communicate with attorneys through out transaction and listen to client needs versus wants. Negotiate, Educate and Facilitate from beginning to end of transaction.Assist Seller in selling their home. With timely updates, detailed marketing plan that has room for customization. Negotiate for a win win.Manage all details of transaction from start to finish. Be upfront regarding condition, price and expectations of current market conditions.
