In 2005 I successfully completed my Honours degree in Information Technology receiving a result of 2:1 After completing my degree I started working in AOL in the technical support department. While there I resolved customers queries, complaints and issues with regards to their PC and broadband. In 2006 I moved to Calyx and worked as a IT field service engineer where I was responsible for maintaining, upgrading and resolving PC and printer related issues.In 2007 I moved to Westbourne IT solutions. On joining Westbourne I was contracted out to Agfa Healthcare. Agfa Healthcare provide radiology systems to a number of hospitals in Ireland. Since joining the team I have been involved in multiple projects which includes new installs and upgrades. Agfa have shown great confidence in my abilities as they have assigned me as lead engineer for a number of these projects.Since Joining Westbourne I have greatly developed my areas of knowledge and offer daily support in areas such as vmware, Oracle, SQL, Solaris, Windows server 2003, 2008, 2012, Windows XP,Vista, 7,8 and offer support on all Agfa based applications. I'm currently the manager of 6 employees at Westbourne IT Solutions and I am always looking to expand my knowledge and eager to take on new challenges to help in my own professional development.On September 26th 2014 I successfully passed and was certified by vmware. I achieved the following VMware Certified Professional 5 - Data Center Virtualization
