The main project I worked on over the course of the summer was a research proposal that was designed to convince Kleiner Perkins to open a scouting and recruiting branch in Israel. In doing so, I researched and proposed over 150 tuck-in acquisition opportunities in Israel and juxtaposed them with the acquisitions the venture capital firm has made to date. Additionally, I wrote a due diligence report on a US-based technology patent, which has led to the establishment of a new start-up. I also attended meeting with venture capitalists and angel investors regarding investments rounds for 3 cleantech startups, Takadu, Emefcy, and Oplon.My experience as a venture capital intern ignited my entrepreneurial spirit and has encouraged me to start a career in the startup world.
