As the Finance Director of ALJ Motors Saudi Arabia, I lead the finance shared services of one of the world's leading independent distributors of Toyota and Lexus vehicles, which is part of Abdul Latif Jameel, a family-owned and diversified business founded in 1945. I have over 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, and auditing, with credentials from CIMA, ACCA, ICAP, CIA and MIT.My mission is to leverage technology and analytics to improve processes, increase bottom-line results, and build cultures of operational excellence. I have successfully led ALJ's first robotic process automation (RPA) and machine learning (ML) projects in the procure-to-pay process, resulting in significant cost savings, efficiency gains, and fraud prevention. I have also played a key role in setting up the finance shared services and offshoring specific finance processes, enabling scalability and standardization.
