Profile bio

About Avery Soule

Hey there! To put it succinctly, I am an avid UX researcher, multi-disciplined designer and strategist interested in leveraging my entrepreneurial mindset through work opportunities. Oh, I also rock climb a lot, debatably too much.I enjoy breaking apart ambiguous problem spaces at the intersection of humans and technology, and as a result, form the products and services that will create positive effects on our society and environment. To explore my interests and gain a diverse set of skills I have interned at 6 companies over the course of my degree allowing me to be plugged into B2B/B2C software design, navigate the minutiae of bringing physical products to market, solve high-level business challenges, integrate new technologies into existing industries, and support organizational changes from culture shift initiatives, rebrands, and acquisitions. What prevails when summarizing the unique value these experiences have provided me is my dedication and passion for solving problems with a strategic and user-centred design mindset. As a researcher, designer, strategist, I always seek to understand problem spaces within the larger context of the business, industry, and higher-level social implications. I am very self-driven and enjoy working in highly collaborative, creative environments that enable a healthy balance of leadership and expect strong ownership from all. Thanks for dropping by and feel free to get in touch!

Principal Experience Design Researcher

Senior User Experience Researcher

Squamish, British Columbia, Canada

Stepping onto a job site for the first time can be an incredibly overwhelming experience. Steel beams swinging high in the air, heavy machinery rumbling, and the calls of skilled trades people. The Autodesk Construction Cloud steps in as a central and robust platform everyone on a project can utilize to get their jobs done safely and effectively. They can see the latest plans, request information, manage changes, track budgets, formulate schedules and just about anything else that's needed to keep what appears from the outside to be chaos, as safe, organized, and efficient construction. My role is focused on building out an effective way to approach administration on the Autodesk Construction Cloud for mom-and-pop shops all the way up to the largest design and construction companies in the world.
