An intensive training program about the control software used in one of ADNOC's client list company: Yokogawa. The training program involved hands on session for softwares as well as tours and visits to different facilities within Yokogawa in order to experience hardware parts that are being supplied to ADNOC and their group of companies.Worked with three main control system used in Yokogawa, which are; Programmable Logic Control (PLC), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and, Distributed controls system (DCS).Learned how to configure function block diagrams and being able to implement it in Centum VP. Some basic programming such as, switches, inputs, outputs and system units. Followed by sequence control block which is ideal for sequence process programming. Learned how to read alarm process report through analyzing the icons represented with each alarm and knowing what each icon means in terms of functionality and priority. Worked with setting alarms for a specific process through practicing different alarm priority levels like HI, HIHI, MED, LO, and LOLO in the tuning window.Introduced to different topics about advance solutions like Asset Management System (AMS), Advance Process Control (PACE), Modular Procedural Automation (Exapilot). Brief introduction was given along with some demos.
