President And Chief Executive OfficerVencore Inc. Jul 2013 - May 2018Mac took over as President and CEO of the SI on July 2, 2013. Having been on the Board of Directors, Mac was aware of the positive and challenges with the firm. The challenge was to develop a cogent (growth) strategy, reduce the indirect cost and drive innovation and business development discipline into the business. Within ten months, the SI had closed on two acquisitions, Applied Communications Sciences (ACS) and Qinetiq North America (SSG) which doubled the size of the company to over $1.1B in revenue and above industry margins. This complex restructuring and integration was completed within nine months and the new firm Vencore had total addressable market (TAM) growth from $4B per to $110B per year and led to a high single digit (post-integration) organic growth rate. In 2018 Vencore one of the three companies involved in the Reverse Morris Trust (RMT) transaction with DXC Public Sector and KeyPoint to from the public company Perspecta.
