About Mac Graham

Mac Graham founded Platform Veritas Inc. (FKA T-Pedia/TrustedPedia) with an overall purpose of establishing quality sources of trust-scored, trustworthy, factual data for both human and artificial intelligence needs and to use this to support new business opportunities. Mac originally designed a core software engine to achieve a goal to produce trust-scored, trustworthy data. Composed of eight integrated functional components it was originally intended for use as "TrustedPedia", a platform for user collaboration in aligning trust-scored, trustworthy data.ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE - Subsequently, after reading one of Mac’s patent applications for the engine, his prior partner (in their software company which Intuit acquired in 2008) identified a potential, additional application for the engine to provide trustworthy data for Artificial intelligence uses. AI does lack quality sources of factual, trust-scored, trustworthy, data. The current technology remains in “stealth” mode, with substantial progress having been made over the past 2 ½ years with seven patent applications filed with the USPTO.

Listed skills include Start Ups, Venture Capital, Entrepreneurship, Saas, and 14 others.

TrustCentral enhances the security, management, interactions, reputation and trustworthiness of IoT devices and their data. TrustCentral provides an element that’s missing in the field of IoT: device authorization. A long-established principal of network security is “AAA”: Authentication (device identity); Authorization (device privileges); and Accounting (device usage, activity parameters, etc.). Today many excellent authentication technologies exist for IoT devices. What’s lacking are solid authentication technologies for IoT devices (particularly for those operating in hostile environments). TrustCentral has designed innovative, patented authentication solutions for the IoT. The authenticated relationships between paired devices, establishing persistent, authenticated, secure communication lines that include rules and business logic. TrustCentral’s technology is being built on its innovative patent portfolio whose primary inventor is Dr. David W. Kravitz (inventor of DSA: the Digital Signature Algorithm). TrustCentral will provide innovative solutions in areas of security for the Internet of Things (IoT). TrustCentral’s core technology is tightly defined. Rather than limit Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) to traditional approaches (e.g., authenticating from a central point to an endpoint) Dr. Kravitz had the idea to use PKI in a new and different way: “let’s use PKI so endpoints can authenticate each other”. Thus came the innovation of Secure Communication Lines (i.e., persistent, authenticated relationships between devices, made persistent through the use of attribute certificates). This foundation lead to PKI-Enforced Whitelisting (where devices talk only to previously authenticated devices and no others) and then to Secure IoT Device Groups. The technology, available through a singular Application Programming Interface (API) also incorporates the scoring of the reputation and trustworthiness of both devices and their data.

Founder And Ceo

T-Pedia Inc.

Mac Graham founded T-Pedia Inc. with an overall purpose of establishing quality sources of trust-scored, trustworthy, factual data for both human and artificial intelligence needs to create new business opportunities. TRUSTEDPEDIA – Mac originally designed the core technology to achieve that goal, which became an innovative software engine needed to produce trust-scored, trustworthy data. Composed of eight integrated functional components it was named the “TP-Engine”. The TP-Engine was initially designed for use by TrustedPedia, a platform for user collaboration in aligning trust-scored, trustworthy data and thereby shining the light of truth where it’s needed.ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE - Subsequently, after reading Mac’s patent application for the TP-Engine, his prior partner (in their software company which Intuit acquired in 2008) identified a potential, additional application for the TP-Engine to provide trustworthy data needed in the field of artificial intelligence. Mac investigated the AI field and observed AI’s lack of a quality source of factual, trust-scored, trustworthy, data. For AI, a “Trusted Zone” was designed specifically to establish an AI with a viewpoint so as to provide an AI with a stable datum of trustworthy data, as a guide to more trustworthy results. The Trusted Zone is initially planned as RAG integration (Retrieval-Augmented Generation). A Trusted Zone incorporates two complementary TP-Engines (each with a separate orientation focus), plus additional patent-pending technical innovations.

Co-Founder

Inntechnology, Inc.

With InnTechnology, Mac designed, developed and deployed an in-room printer-copier-fax solution for hotels. Working in partnership initially with HP and later with Brother International, InnTechnology designed proprietary methods of communicating with those manufactures’ multi-function machines in hotel guest rooms, among other services. The system supported guest room printing, faxing and copying. The system was installed in many hotels (including Hiltons, Loews, Paris Las Vegas, THEhotel at Mandalay, numerous others) and was in the Venetian Resort Hotel in Las Vegas from opening in 1999 through 2012.

Founder

Waterfall-Irr Corporation

Waterfall-IRR Corporation was founded with one of its major purposes being to create state-of-the-art and highly flexible software for deal strategy, structuring and management. Numerous people had tried and failed to do this resulting in "Excel Hell" remaining the industry's standard solution. Mac's product was close to official launch in late 2007 when Mac was approached by Intuit corporation about an acquisition. After a round of negotiations Mac agreed to sell to Intuit before the company launched.

2004 - Feb 2008

Principal And Owner

Graham Systems

After his successful 1990 exit with the RightRoute network optimization application that he designed and developed, Mac started Graham Systems to deliver telecommunications network optimization, system design, configuration and consulting. In 1991, Mac applied what he had learned in telecom together with his ability to find a solution (that others didn't see) to another known problem: International Call Back. Mac invented a better, automated, and more cost-effective method than existed at that time. He prepared a business plan describing his innovative technology and then sought financing and partners to implement it. He failed in this quest. About six months later, Viatel introduced an international call-back service using exactly the technology that Mac had first described in his earlier business plan. Viatel became hugely successful, making hundreds of millions of dollars over the following decade (lessons were learned).

Jan 1990 - Jan 2008

Founder

Rightroute

Mac founded RightRoute in 1988 after becoming interested in telecommunications in 1987. Its purpose was to provide a tool to address the poorly understood and high costs of telecommunications available to businesses at the time (this was after the breakup of AT&T). Mac designed and developed RightRoute, a sophisticated network optimization system for telecommunications networks. The application was acquired by Silicon Valley public corporation in 1990 and was Mac’s first high-tech exit.
