• Collaborates with the Chief Flight Instructor and Program Managers to ensure the quality of flight and flight training device (FTD) instruction.• Develops and implements flight, FTD training and education standards for all flight training programs in the • Develops and updates aircraft and operational standards manuals.• Directs and manages standards training to flight and FTD instructors and conducts flight and FTD periodic checks and/or instruction to Faculty Specialists,Aviation Associates, and temporary flight instructors.• Develops and implements remedial training plans as appropriate.• Monitors the performance of student progress, stage and FAA check rides and modifies standards as appropriate to ensure student success.• Ensures the maintenance of accurate, timely records/reports regarding the standardization training of instructors and students.• Serves as an Assistant Chief Instructor per 14 CFR 141.36 and assists the chief instructor as needed including frequent after hours, weekend, and on-call operations; other flight duties as assigned.
