A registered chemist, researcher and a chemistry faculty with extensive and significant experience on bioanalytical sensing, polymer chemistry, agricultural research, molecular biology, and biotechnology. Currently working as a chemistry faculty at the University of the Philippines Baguio. I am teaching Physical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry and General Science Education. I earned my master's degree in Chemistry in the USA in 2022 wherein I worked on the synthesis and characterization of various polymeric materials for bioimaging and biosensing. I also previously worked at the Philippine Rice Research Institute wherein I focused on the molecular identification, characterization, and biodiversity analysis of various plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria in rice ecology. Also worked on the grain quality evaluation, phytochemical screening and antioxidant analysis of rice and rice by-products. Skilled to using different laboratory facilities and instruments such as but not limited to Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), ATR-FTIR, UV-VIS, AAS, Kjeltec protein analyzer, nanodrop spectrophotometer, thermal cyclers, gel documentation system, agarose and polyacrylamide electrophoresis, and many more. Trained to write technical papers and research reports and have developed good communication skills.
