Results-driven Scientist with a passion for science. I spent over a year working for Century Therapeutics on the In Vivo Pharmacology team as a Research Associate. I handled mice used in Oncology. I transplanted cancer cells to animals using Subcutaneous, Intravenous, Intraperitoneal, and Mammary Fat Pad injections. I Treated animals with various cancer treatments, and measured results using Caliper Tumor Volumes or BLI by IVIS Imager. I designed protocols used in experimentation, and produced/analyzed data used in presentations. I also maintained the purity of cells with PCR based mycoplasma testing. I spent four years working for Pharmaron (Absorption Systems) on the Tissue/IDAS/BCS team as a Scientist II. I handled documentation, including protocol, SOP, and report writing. I was crucial in the transformation of our lab from Non-GLP to regulated and controlled GLP. I developed my skills in animal surgeries and human donor testing, and have even taught myself some surgeries. I ran a variety of biological experiments, including In Vivo and In Vitro work. I also have experience in LCMS & Microplate Reader method development/validation and analysis. My calculations have been used in FDA approved IVPT/IVRT studies, in which I played a vital role in the biological experimentation as well.I spent two years working for Dr. Matthew Junker at Kutztown University as a Student Research Scientist and Supplemental Chemistry Instructor. I conducted award-winning research on Inhibitor of Apoptosis Proteins Domains in Inhibiting of Apoptosis Caspase. I also researched Uncovering the Substrate Recognition and Heme Ligation Mechanisms of Yeast Cytochrome c Heme Lyase. I developed skills in PCR, cloning, expression and purifation of recombinant proteins, and fluorometric analysis. I also assisted General Chemistry students with learning material and preparing for exams.
