I was competitively selected to intern for Stephen Igoe, the Founder and Publisher of Hoist The Colours, a CBS/247Sports Network Company. My responsibility was to write and publish articles on East Carolina University Athletics and recruiting including Football, Baseball and Basketball with live, in-depth analysis and game coverage via Twitter, Instagram, and Fan boards. I worked press events to post analysis to social media with the intent to increase site traffic. This experience taught me to be cool under pressure with real time analysis and invaluable experience to be a better writer and communicator.

I have done both volunteer and paid roles as a production support resource and reported to the Production Manager for CBS Sports at multiple golf tournaments for the Network. I was responsible for relaying live information to the tv production crew and aiding in the LIVE camera shots. The high-pressure live environment was incredibly rewarding as it required strong focus and attention to the unfolding action as there is no room for mistakes.
