R&D&i Project Manager. PhD from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Spain, 2011. Computer Engineer from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil. Researcher, Assistant Professor, and International IT Project Manager specialised in Cloud Computing, Big Data, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI integration), Semantic Web, Intelligent Transport Systems, and R&D&i Project Management.He has worked since 2004, creating and developing competitive software implementation projects to support European public and private entities in using innovative eDelivery, eInvoicing, eIdentification, eLearning, and Open Data solutions. He has also provided consultancy services on EDI integration to companies not only from Europe but also from other countries such as the USA, Mexico, and Brazil. Many of these projects and services were based on how to adapt the Enterprise Resource Planning systems and connect to consolidated eDelivery, eInvoicing, and eIdentification cloud solutions such as the EDICOM B2B Platform.In line with this project management expertise, until 2013, he worked as an assistant professor and researcher at Universitat Poltècnica de Valencia and at UC3M, leading several international R&D projects with tasks such as organizing conferences, analysing and explaining technical requirements, drafting reports, coordinating international teams, and publishing more than 30 papers in international research journals. Since 2014, he has been working in the private sector, focused on creating and implementing innovative projects that promote the use of new cloud technologies and tools for business purposes, especially those related to EDI, eIdentification, and Big Data. Additionally, he was a part-time assistant professor and researcher at the Robotic Institute of the Universitat de València and currently he is a profesor at the Universidad Politècnica de Madrid (UPM - Technical University of Madrid).
