My motivation to become a social impact professional stems from my experience growing up in Ethiopia, where the lack of basic services drove my desire for change. I pursued a master's in development, climate, and sustainability at Johns Hopkins SAIS, discovering my passion for addressing development through a climate change perspective and gaining expertise in global climate agreements.I'm enthusiastic about the current efforts at the intersection of social impact and climate, including climate-smart agriculture, innovative climate financing, and policy work. However, there's much work remaining to assist the most affected communities in the Global South. I want to be part of this work for change by leveraging my unique background and advocating for innovative, sustainable, community-centered solutions for maximum impact.
