Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) with experience working in the state public service, social and human services, as a direct support staff, and customer services. Proficient in case management with an educational and work history of providing customer focused counseling to individuals with complex psychological, developmental, cognitive, physical, and sensory disorders . My background is in Vocational Rehabilitation. I managed an adult Autism/IDD caseload and served as the office ODP counselor coordinator. As the ODP coordinator, I attended monthly state-wide coordinator meetings and collaborate with peers, management, and stakeholders providing appropriate feedback to optimize client services. The role required me to collaborate and connect clients with nonprofit organizations and government agencies , lead counseling and guidance sessions, and maintain an organized caseloadI worked in state public service for almost five years, and have now transitioned into a new role with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, as a Manager, MS Navigator. I have realized the aspects of my work I find most rewarding are customer success/support, training, understanding federal and state policies, and business services functions. I look forward to utilizing my skillset and previous experiences to positively impact and empower people affected by MS.I enjoy expanding my professional network, collaborating with my peers to broaden my knowledge, and gaining different perspectives to tackle unique situations.
