After four years of solidifying my biology knowledge at University of Puget Sound, I'm prepared to kick start my career goals as a human biology researcher. My aspirations for science began years ago after my battling congenital heart disease and receiving a heart transplant. My involvement with the American Heart Association and organ donation introduced me to the value of research and what science is truly capable of. Since that exposure, I have committed to my mission of giving back to my community by pursuing this career path. I spent my college years as a resident advisor and barista to support my student community and expand my skills in all areas.
