As a self-motivated, creative story-teller, I bring new ideas that lead to success.With experience in digital marketing, content creation, broadcast journalism and public relations, I view brands holistically, considering various factors. My unique outlook of a brand comes from these experiences, giving me a better understanding of how and when these fields work together, or what they can learn from one another. My past experience as a collegiate student athlete makes it easy for me to apply my championship-mindset to my work in my professional career. I feel the importance of storytelling in visual and written content is crucial. Through my journalism education, I'm able to quickly "find the story" in brands, clients or campaigns. I understand different writing styles and when it's appropriate to use each-- broadcast writing, AP style and promotional writing make me versatile and aware of how different styles affect and can convince the reader.In prior roles, I monitored, wrote and scheduled posts across social media platforms--gaining and using prior knowledge about the audiences for each platform. I created and designed content through video, photo and graphic design for social media and other marketing materials. I've written thought leadership articles and published & designed the webpages in WordPress. Video content is my specialty-- shooting, editing and interviewing with relevant questions to get emotion-provoking quotes to promote brands. I see the full story from the interview and am easily inspired by people and their stories. Shooting broll to tell a story without having someone explain a situation is a goal. Using moving angles and shots for video tells a story in itself. Overall, I'm passionate about establishing brands and constantly improving and maintaining consistency in their voice online.In other roles, I have had to start from square one, establishing a brand and their voice, along with a cohesive creative look. Tracking analytics and create quarterly reports to measure success of social media content and website traffic. This helps show which campaigns are most popular with the target audience.As a natural go-getter, continuously learning and growing is what keeps me creatively inspired.
