Hi! I am a first-year student at the University of Florida, pursuing a degree in Business Management. As I begin my journey here at the University of Florida, I look forward to being involved in business-related clubs and looking for internship opportunities to improve my skills in management and leadership.Throughout high school, I was a part of three different dance teams. I had the opportunity to be a captain for my high school dance team during my junior and senior years. I enjoyed this position very much because it was such a great feeling to know that I was helping others. This experience greatly improved my skills in leadership, patience, and management. I also worked in two restaurants throughout high school, my place in that being a hostess and helping with to-go orders. Helping to manage the restaurant in a way was a wonderful way to build my interpersonal skills, patience, and leadership skills.Regarding school achievements, I received my IB Diploma and attended the Star Awards Ceremony and Banquet. I was also a member of the National Honors Society, as well as the National Honors Society for Dance Arts. The ability to achieve these goals and be a part of these organizations was a result of learning time management, perseverance, and through the support of family, friends, and mentors around me. During my time at the University of Florida, I look forward to unique opportunities to volunteer in organizations and gain experience in the real workforce by interning with a company. I would like to study abroad during my time here at UF, and I look forward to learning and gaining the skills I need for my future job during this experience.
